Y/PROJECT MEN’S FASHION FALL WINTER 2016-2017 PARIS FASHION WEEK

Belgian designer Glenn Martens has shown fall-winter collection 2016-2017 for fashion label Y/PROJECT 20 of January in Paris. Transeasonal pieces strong tailoring and unisex models, Y/PROJECT’s motifs are contemporary looks that are both sophisticated and urban. Brand has been proposing menswear that channel a technical know-how and emotional atmospheres into a unequivocal look.
In this punk-techno with fetish elements collection Martens played with texture, as in sheepskin jackets and denim tops and pants made of frayed edge bands of fabrics sewn together vertically to give a hairy volume. Architectual cuts that boast a comfortable fit, graphic tailoring woven into structural elegance. The collection was a lot of denim in utypic proportions, such as in extralong pants scrunched into little leather loafers or the elongated sleeves of jean jackets turned up at the arm. Martens has eternal his late mentor’s style and introduced a full-fledged and long anticipated collection.
