PAUL SMITH MEN’S FASHION FALL WINTER 2016-2017 PARIS FASHION WEEK

British designer Paul Smith has showed fall-winter collection 2016-2017 for his label Paul Smith, 24 of January in Paris. In business for over 40 years Paul Smith had established himself as the pre-eminent British designer. Paul Smith has an ability to anticipate, and even create trends not only fashion but in the wider context of popular culture. Designer was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II in 2000 for his services to British fashion.

In this collection consists a lot of bright colours, silhouette is 50s. As usual designer managed to transmit a genuine sense of humour and mischief mixed with his love of tradition and the classics. “I have never think about design, the ideas seem to come naturally. My philosophy is making clothes for people from everyday walks of life” commented Paul Smith. Also he explained brand’s concept: “We are a leading and uniquely British brand. We mix up one-off antiques with high quality tailoring: the chair you sit on when you buy a suit is for sale and we can wrap the suit and have the chair waiting for you when you get home.”
