ANN DEMEULEMEESTER MEN’S FASHION SPRING SUMMER 2017 PARIS FASHION WEEK

French designer Sebastien Meunier, director of belgium  label Ann Demeulemeester presented his spring-summer collection 2017 , 24 of June in Paris. Ann Demeulemeester established label in 1985, in Antwerp, Belgium. Known for her elegant tailoring and dark yet glamorous aesthetic, she created a serene and darkly romantic world with an intriguing mix of edgy rebellion and sophistication. Since her departure in 2014, the artistic direction of the brand is in hands of Sebastien Meunier.
This  collection  designer named “I am red with love”. As for me this message remains a mystery. However, I observed red accents on the footwear and jewelry, that was bright splash among monochrome palette of colours. I have to say that collection was delightful and asymmetrical  tailoring was impeccable, by the way as usual. Military-inspired outerwear walked the runway alongside knitwear with hand-stitched detailing and sheer tops. Delicate chiffon or silk panels, featuring blotchy ink drawings or an embroidered phoenix-like bird, were tied across the body like flags — or declarations of the wearer’s state of mind. Obviously, all that made with love!
