PAUL SMITH MEN’S FASHION SPRING SUMMER 2017 PARIS FASHION WEEK

British designer Paul Smith presented his spring-summer collection 2017 for his Paul Smith label 26 of June in Paris. As usual, he didn’t mislead us : “keeping things simple and having a business with a heart”. He is in Fashion business from 1970, carving out a distinctive look that combined the best of traditional English attire often with unusual or witty prints, Smith blazed a trail throughout the late ’70s.

Paul Smith should be name this collection “Absolutely Hapiness”. He was inspired of his memories about London clubs of ’60 and ’70, including the Flamingo Club and Whiskey-a-Go-Go. “They were always full of an eclectic mix of people. Self-expression was the thing,” he explained. The Caribbean vivid colours palette and Bob Marley medley as soundtrack to runway. Models were smiling during defile. “I was giving everyone a shoulder massage on their way out” Paul Smith noted. At the backstage was atmosphere of rasta as well.
