WALTER VAN BEIRENDONCK MEN’S FASHION SPRING SUMMER 2017 PARIS FASHION WEEK

Famous belgian designer Walter Van Beirendonck presented his spring-summer collection 2017 , 22 of June in Paris. At this season designer named it “Why is raven like a writing-desk?” (Alice in Wonderland”) as usual sense of humour doesn’t leave of creator. There are of 3 whales of this collection: plenty of colours, deconstruction, fantasy. Walter Van Beirendonck still managed to bring his collection into reality, throwing words like “brutal beauty”, “future folk” or “reflection through destruction” onto his garments.
Walter Van Beirendonck places his sense of humour to the fore of his creations in an approach that humanises the sexuality that is often woven into his garments as pattern and graphics. At this  collection  he made focus on: The sculpted tops and jackets embroidered with pearls forming flowers. Also designer commented his creation: “The ribbons are mostly a work on the holes in the clothing and they are inspired by a crazy, new and futuristic idea and for me working with ribbons is important because it starts to create a silhouette that starts to fall a little bit. We worked a lot on the shapes and experimented on the cut this time. I think this season the collection has a lot of novelty in it”.
