ALEXANDRE VAUTHIER HAUTE COUTURE FALL WINTER 2016-2017 PARIS FASHION WEEK

French designer Alexandre Vauthier presented Haute Couture collection Fall-Winter 2016-2017 for his label Alexandre Vauthier on 5 of July in Paris. He famous as creator of radical cuts that expressed  through a style, inspired by French culture and Anglo-Saxon influenced. “Tailoring expertise is one of my true passions. This time, once again, we really worked on the cut, and developed it here as jumpsuits and evening dresses” mentioned designer.

This collection is example of contemporary Haute Couture. Designer claimed that part of collection was influenced by artistry of Anglo-American designer Charles James. He has created from thirties to fifties, his speciality was sculptural volumes. Also more fascinating moments were hybrid looks: crystals, feathers, sequins were combined with military theme and safari jackets. “I’d never done that kind of dress before” admitted designer. As for me, collection was perfect and sex was in the air.
