French designer Julien Fournie has showed Haute Couture collection Fall-Winter 2016-2017 for his label Julien Fournie on 5 of July in Paris. Designer combines cut, embroidery, craftsmanship and futuristic technologies. He worked and developed his skills at fashion houses: Christian Dior, Celine, Claude Montana, Jean-Paul Gaultier. Later , he was Creative Director for Torrente Haute Couture. Needless to say, he created the stage costumes for a Madonna tour.

Julien Fournier named this collection “First Light”. Difficult to understand this title but maybe that was definition of Paris as City of Lights . “I want to create universes and tell stories. Each season, I present couture collections and develop my couture dream. Creating a  dress is like surgery” commented designer. He mixed the tradition of Parisian know-how and an innovative spirit, particularly by developing the 3d tools of the future, thanks to his partnership with Dassault Systeme, a European softwear company with which he has co-founder the FashionLab. All his collections made in France.
