RYNSHU MEN’S FASHION FALL WINTER 2017-2018

Japanese designer Yamaji Rynshu (Masamoto Yamaji)  presented his autumn-winter collection 2017 for his brand Rynshu, on 22 of January in Paris. Press release reported Rynshu launched his business in 1985 as Ma-ji creation. In 1992, the house became Masamoto INC and developed the couture style for men until became  Rynshu. Interesting fact about designer: he has already changed his name several times. Now he was back to history of the house, the designer had  taken  the name Yamaji Rynshu into the Japanese written form full of meaning.

At this collection designer turned to Japanese theme: the suit of this season was inspired by classic kimono ” Tomesode”. “I used traditional techniques and materials, like, for example, the kimono belts, the obis that I used especially for the shoes. So I used the old kimono belts and transformed them into shoes.. The flowers are very important. The key word of the collection is the embroidered message on the material, it’s a Japanese proverb that means “pray to fulfill your wishes” commented Yamaji Rynshu.

Last but not a least, The character created of designer, Maji-kun is going to be developed in the USA in cartoon, movie, merchandising and on digital media.
