Jean-Charles de Castelbajac – Spring/Summer 2015 Paris Fashion Week

One of the powerful , famous and important French fashion designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac in his spring-summer collection 2015 declares : “collective, inventive and visionary”. Difficult to say who the main personage of this collection : Farrah Fawcette when she first wore his clothes in Charlie’s Angels in 1974 or the woman of 2074?

He is put on signature of a new feminity : comfortable, functional and creative sportswear. JC de Castelbajac situated his show in a garage, models strolls before publick wearing in pop camouflage is encrusted on retro-futuristic trench-coat , transparent sweater , jumpsuits , bustier dresses and sweatshirts. Silk organza, cotton twill and viscose were the main fabrics of this prostrated in time collection. Important to mark, that the designer rejected the idea of print as usual. Oversized bags from leather and plexiglas , sport and chic sandales were used an integral component of the image of the heroine, was extended for a century.

Colours for collection were chosen strong, classic and energetic : orange, red, yellow, blue and simply white. Who knows maybe in 60 years a protagonist of Charlie’s Angels , new story, will be wearing at the same outfit.
