HENRIK VIBSKOV MEN’S FASHION FALL WINTER 2017-2018

Danish designer Henrik Vibskov presented his autumn-winter collection 2017 for his brand Henrik Vibskov on 21 of January in Paris. He is a not only a fashion designer and costume designer, he is contemporary artist. This spring 2 events are going be present: installation at New York’s MAD Museum from 27 of April and solo exhibition from 11 of May till 16 of July at Maison du Denamark in Paris. “Working on many projects and that kind of gives something to the next, or it can be a form, or I don’t know. It’s also a demand maybe, I’m like an old tractor..” as usual designer makes us laugh.

He loves to named every collection. He mentioned: “during the process of each collection we gather words. and at the end it makes sense to use and combine some of them”. This one he named “The Five O’ Clock Leg Alignment”. ” In the twisted and surreal set-up of Vibskov, deformed yogis are aligned to perform series of synchronized movements in a controlled rusty red temple. Sports tracks with bending graphical lines, mind zones, striped sporting uniforms and games from our childhood have inspired the Vibskov design team for A/W17″ was declared in press release.
