PAUL SMITH MEN’S FASHION FALL WINTER 2017-2018

British designer Paul Smith presented his autumn-winter collection 2017 for his brand Paul Smith on 22 of January in Paris. At this season Guru of contemporary fashion and master “classics with a twist”( “no-bullshit clothing”) showed men’s and women’s outfit on the catwalk at the same time. That was firstly in his career. After launching Paul Smith’s label in 1970, men’s collection debuted in 1976 in Paris. Women’s collection designer represented in 1994 in London.

“You have got to flow with the river”, Paul Smith concludes. “That is the job of the fashion designer. It is always about today and tomorrow. Nobody cares how good you used to be. I am just so full of energy and ideas and I think I was just pumping out too much stuff. Luckily, I have honest, young staff saying: ‘I think we should focus more’.” Also he said “So, we are not going anywhere incidentally, we are very solid, it is just you are witnessing a time which is different to what you have witnessed before.”
