Boston-born Jason Basmajian the French house’s Cerruti 1881 new chief creative officer presented his fall-winter collection 2016-2017, 22 of January in Paris. Designer has shown that good modern styling should not just be desirable and inspired, but also innovative and refined. The sense of design and the search for increasingly sophisticated fabrics contribute to the natural elegance of the label. “I have very strong fabric sensibility and background. It’s so perfect for this brand” said designer.
The absolute perfection of Cerruti 1881 suit tailoring is based on a tradition of unique expertise, combining quality and sophistication, values for which the company has endeavored for over 40 years. “He never did fashion for fashion sake. It was all about style. My mission here is not so much dusting off but taking a powerful name with a string legacy and pushing it into the future” commented Jason Basmajian. Cut, fabric, finish: the Cerruti style is revealed in the details of its garments, the little touches that make all the difference. Also designer mentioned: “I loved his notion of style over trend”.
