CERRUTI 1881 MEN’S FASHION SPRING SUMMER 2017 PARIS FASHION WEEK
American designer Jason Basmajian presented his spring-summer collection 2017 for Cerruti label 24 of June in Paris. He was appointed less than 9 months ago, and his second collection for the storied Parisian house has continued in the vein of restrained and subtle heritage garments that marked his reign at Gieves & Hawkes prior.
This collection made with custom textiles — many featuring a hybrid, leafy camouflage inspired by the motifs of tree bark. The colour palette based on natural shades, as chalky greys and mineral blues gave an overwhelming sense of neutrality to the collection, also, there is a lot of denim in collection. I would like to say, was so interesting format of presentation — models on plywood islands illuminated by fluorescent tubes.
