ALEXIS MABILLE READY-TO-WEAR SPRING-SUMMER 2016, FASHION WEEK PARIS

Alexis Mabille presented spring-summer collection 2016 for his own housebrand 30 of September, in Paris. Borrowing from a very French sensibility, the Mabille style offers a highly contemporary, cosmopolitan allure. Whether playing with traditional codes, giving silhouettes a savvy twist or mixing different eras, with every collection, Alexis Mabille cultivates a spirit that is equal parts chic and fun-loving. Graphic lines structure the looks, movement suggests sensuality.

This collection was inspired of.. Sandia Smash cocktail on basis watermelon and tequila. In lifting from both masculine and feminine styles, the brand revisits men’s and women’s wardrobes alike. Black sleeveless smoking jacket in crepe, tiered top in red, fuchsia and coral lace were changed with black chiffon paneled scarf dress or with white pleated square top in poplin with tulle and lace inserts. Elegance and a natural casual attitude come together with a sporty-chic attitude. Malachite green t-shirt in perforated jersey with lace inserts, matching high-waisted, belted trousers or watermelon sweatshirt with white t-shirt, wrap skirt in black cotton were confirmed this line of creativity of designer.

Sandia Smash: exotic, refreshing, colorful, appealing, casual, exhilarating. Sip, sip, sip.. slowly.
